As water temperatures continue to climb, bass are starting to move into shallower zones. The bite has been steady, with anglers having success on small crankbaits, jigs, and drop-shot Senkos. It has been a month since the last trout stocking at River Walk, and while some holdover fish are still being caught, the bite has become more difficult. Trout are coming on trout jigs, small spinners, and Powerbait. Panfish action remains consistent, with anglers catching bluegill and crappie at both lakes using live worms.
