Fishing was fair overall at BV, with bass providing the best action. Anglers reported connecting with bass in the shallows while using Senkos and Texas-rigged baits. An emerging topwater bite was also reported near cattails and reeds, where topwater frogs and poppers generated strikes. Catfish anglers found success using SSS dip bait and chicken liver, while crappie eagerly inhaled small live minnows.
