Ming Lake has been fishing well since last week’s trout plant from CDFW, with anglers reporting very good action on Indian crickets, nightcrawlers, Mousetails, and Kastmasters. The bass bite has started to improve, with fish being caught on Texas-rigged plastics and weightless flukes. Crappie fishing is hit or miss. Anglers are finding some success later in the day using mini jigs and live shiners.
