It has been a while since the last trout plant, but anglers still reported good-sized trout coming out of BV. A variety of offerings produced fish, including dough baits, Mini Jigs, spoons, and tube baits. Adding garlic scent also seemed to improve bite rates. Bass fishing was fair, with finesse baits and crankbaits drawing strikes. Crappie anglers found success with small live minnows and swimbaits.
